Description

This is a pristine 2012 Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, the exterior finished in Bianco Canopus Matte with the interior in black with red accent leather and Alcantara. It has many exterior and interior carbon fiber components, together with upgraded audio, navigation and nose lift.

The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, designed by Filippo Perini, was the first version of the Aventador. Named after a Spanish fighting bull it is a mid-engine sports car that was introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in February 2011. Initially, 12 units were sold, with deliveries starting later in 2011. It was produced from 2011 to 2022.

Production was planned to be limited to 4,000 vehicles, but by March 2016, Lamborghini had built 5,000 Aventadors, making it the second-best selling model for the brand at that time. The carbon fiber monocoque molds were intended to last for 500 uses each, with only eight total molds ever produced.

The Aventador was groundbreaking, setting new standards in performance, design, and technology. It was Lamborghini’s flagship supercar. The new jaw-dropping V12 engine, an advanced carbon-fiber chassis, improved aerodynamics, advanced engineering, and unmistakable style made it a worthy successor to the decade old Murciélago. The Aventador delivered an unmatched driving experience for enthusiasts seeking the pinnacle of automotive excitement.

The Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4 featured a 6.5-liter V12 engine producing 690 horsepower and 509 pound-feet of torque coupled to a Graziano Trasmissioni built seven-speed single-clutch automated manual transmission with Haldex Traction electronically controlled all-wheel drive system, with five operating modes, and launch control, combined with its reduced weight carbon-fiber chassis for better performance and handling. Car and Driver named it “Car of the Year”.

The designation “LP” in Aventador LP700-4 refers to “Longitudinal Posteriore,” which denotes a mid-engine mounted in a longitudinal configuration. The “700” refers to the horsepower, while “4” indicates all-wheel drive.

The design of the Aventador is characterized by its aggressive lines and aerodynamic efficiency. The vehicle’s sharp angles, low profile, and distinctive scissor doors underscore its supercar status. The rear section includes substantial air intakes and quad exhaust outlets, contributing to its striking appearance. Variations between trims are mostly aesthetic, with premium versions featuring additional carbon-fiber components and unique wheel configurations.

The Aventador’s interior combines a modern design with luxury features, focusing on the driver’s experience. A configurable TFT digital instrument cluster is the main feature of the cockpit, offering displays for speed, RPM, and other vehicle data. The cabin includes materials such as leather and Alcantara.
The Aventador features a two-seat configuration with limited cabin space. The seats provide support, but taller occupants might experience restricted headroom and legroom due to the car’s low-slung design.

As standard the Aventador is equipped with high-quality leather upholstery complemented by Alcantara details. Enhanced customization options were available to choose from together with a broad spectrum of colors, including Lamborghini’s distinctive hues such as Arancio Argos (orange) and Giallo Orion (yellow).
Standard features include automatic climate control, keyless entry and start, and a navigation system integrated into the central touchscreen. While the Aventador provides a comfortable and luxurious cabin, its design prioritizes performance over practicality.
The Aventadors advanced technology features, include the touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Bluetooth, and an optional premium sound system all these functions controlled by the Audi-derived MMI interface.
