The McLaren 650S GT3 is a race-spec version of the road-going 650S, engineered for GT3 racing championships limited to a production of 15 units. It’s based on the same lightweight carbon-fiber Monocel chassis but features significant upgrades like a wider track, race-tuned suspension, and a revised aerodynamic package. The GT3 version also boasts a six-speed sequential gearbox, a new braking system with monoblock calipers, and an FIA-approved roll cage. The 3.8-litre McLaren twin-turbocharged V8 engine, also used in the 12C-GT3, produces 500 PS (368 kW; 493 hp), and includes a new ECU to improve turbo boost and gearshifts.
