The Track Series was limited to 55 units hand-built in Affalterbach. Paying tribute to the 55th anniversary of the founding of AMG in 1967
It was developed from the Black Series and combined with the race proven qualities of the GT3 and GT4.
A high quality embossed “1 of 55” plaque mounted on the center console identifies every Mercedes-AMG GT Track Series as a unique piece of this special edition. The “Track Series” embroidery on the driver’s seat and on the limited car cover also refer to it’s exclusivity.
Powered by the AMG 4.0-liter V8 bi-turbo engine, capable of producing 734hp coupled to a Hewland HLS 6-speed sequential racing transmission with a curb weight of only 1,400 kg.
A comprehensive safety package and motorsport specific interior, as found in the GT3 and GT4. Fitted with a high-tensile steel roll cage bolted to the aluminum space frame chassis and a roof hatch. The carbon driver safety cell is large enough for taller drivers, including a five-point safety harness and customizable ergonomic seat, driver safety nets and a motorsport fire extinguisher system, all conforming to the latest FIA standards. Equipped with user and service friendly racing electronics. They include racing specific traction control and a motorsport ABS, each adjustable with 12 positions, from position 1 maximum TC/ABS intervention to position 11 minimum TC/ABS intervention and position 12 turning off TC/ABS). Motorsport steel brakes with adjustable brake bias, 15.4 inch front and 14 inch rear rotors. Fitted with carbon brake air ducts for optimal cooling.
The steering wheel was exclusively developed for the GT Track Series in cooperation with the sim racing experts at Cube Controls. The pedals are individually adjustable to suit each drivers needs. The carbon and a matte black finish dashboard includes a fully programmable BOSCH DDU 11 Driver Display Unit, it incorporates a motorsport derived data logging system.
Finished in the exclusive semi-gloss MANUFAKTUR Cirrus Silver Magno with design elements in red and anthracite. Another highlight that emphasizes the exclusivity of this GT model is the integration of the AMG emblem in the upper area of the front fascia.

The heart of the Track Series is the Handcrafted AMG 4.0L V8 Biturbo engine from the Black Series, the engineers from Affalterbach increased its performance, fitted custom motorsport injectors together with a specific calibration and a flat-plane crankshaft, producing 778 hp and 627 lb.-ft.
Fitted with the same sequential Hewland HLS 6-speed racing transaxle gearbox with adjustable differential as the AMG GT race cars. Transferring the power to the rear axle using a carbon fiber torque tube.
The suspension comprises four-way adjustable Bilstein dampers. With adjustable high and low speed rebound and compression levels, adjustable ride height and individually adjustable anti-roll bars.
Optimized aerodynamics of the Mercedes-AMG GT Track Series strictly follow the performance philosophy. The hood, fenders, rockers, trunk lid and rear bumper are made of carbon fiber and largely contribute to the high driving dynamics.
The front characteristic AMG radiator grille ensuring optimum air flow to the radiator, the exclusively GT Track Series developed high-downforce front splitter. together with the characteristic motorsport hoods large air outlet guiding the hot air from the radiator, cooling the engine while adding to the overall downforce at the same time. All complemented by a modified, mechanically adjustable racing rear wing that is based on the aero element of the GT Black Series, developed to improve the downforce on the rear axle.
The integrated louvers of the carbon wing on the front axle provide a higher downforce. The rockers transition into vertical blades both at the front and the rear, contribute to optimal airflow around the vehicle. Air ducts incorporated in the rockers ensure effective cooling of the rear brakes. Finishing with the rear bumper’s double diffuser and lateral wheel arch air outlets.
With exclusive 18-inch forged and high-sheen milled wheels, allowing the fitment of all competition tires.
