Description

This 2019 Porsche 991.2 GT3 Cup MR SPO Pro was originally campaigned by Black Falcon Team Identica at the 24-hour Nürburgring and other VLN races.
It has since been campaigned by Autometrics Motorsports in various HSR and PCA events and is available immediately in Summerville, South Carolina.

This particular 991.2 GT3 Cup MR SPO Pro is fitted with an Autometrics 4.2-liter engine with a Dundon intake manifold and M&M headers and exhaust system.

Because of the rarity of this car, Manthey Racing’s historian has been in regular contact to keep track of the car’s full racing and ownership history.
The full history of this car is available on request.

The 2019 Porsche 991.2 GT3 Cup MR SP Pro is a track-focused, endurance-ready race car based on the standard 991.2 Cup, featuring comprehensive performance upgrades. It was designed to bridge the gap between the standard Cup car and the 911 GT3 R, incorporating an improved aerodynamics package with more overall downforce, the wider wheelbase with specialized suspension, and enhanced braking with the twelve-way adjustable ABS system for competitive racing. Many elements such as the front bumper, hood, fenders, dive planes, rockers, engine cover and rear wing are made from carbon fiber.
Manthey-Racing offers optional long-distance-specific accessories.

Key Features and Enhancements
The MR package consists of a modified wider body kit with improved aerodynamics for greater downforce, it includes redesigned carbon fiber front bumper, dive planes, underbody with diffuser and a rear wing.

Featuring 3-way adjustable racing dampers developed together with KW, (however, Black Falcon had Bilstein sponsorship, this 991.2 GT3 Cup MR SP Pro is fitted with Bilstein MDS dampers), upgraded brake pads and rotors optimized for the 12-position adjustable Bosch ABS system and lightweight 18-inch forged alloy wheels.

Usually powered by a 4.0-liter flat-six engine but in this case an Autometrics Motorsports 4.2-liter engine, cooled by a large central radiator.
Frequently campaigned in the SP Pro class in VLN and other similar endurance series, that allow specific performance modifications over standard Cup cars.

MR KIT COMPONENTS:
Lightweight Carbon fiber parts specially developed to reduce the overall weight and optimize performance:

FRONT SPLITTER WITH SKID PLATE SP PRO: Stiffness-optimized main carrier. Replaceable wooden construction SP Pro skid plate to protect the splitter from excessive wear. Improves aerodynamics and performance.

FRONT BUMPER WITH QUICK-RELEASE FASTNERS: Provides an integrated opening for the central radiator for improved engine cooling. Quick-release fasteners enable quick removal without tools.

BRAKE AIR DUCT: Air intake duct and an air scoop mounted directly on the wheel carrier for efficient brake cooling.

HOOD: Ventilation openings optimize center radiator air circulation and a round cut-out for the quick refueling valve.

FENDERS: Wider with integrated ventilation openings ensure improved air circulation and cooling.

DIVE PLANES: Optimize downforce on the front axle. Guide airflow efficiently around the vehicle to increase downforce and improve stability and handling.

WHEEL ARCH EXTENSIONS: Cover the increased track width. High strength and aerodynamic optimization.

ENGINE COVER: Improves aerodynamics and contributes to efficient airflow and effective cooling.

REAR WING: Provides increased downforce maximizing stability and traction at high speeds.

UNDERBODY INCLUDING REAR DIFFUSOR: Increases downforce by optimizing airflow under the vehicle improving aerodynamic efficiency.

CENTER RADIATOR: The centrally mounted radiator position ensures optimum cooling of the engine.

XENON HEADLIGHTS: Offer maximum visibility. Fitted with damage resistant polycarbonate covers.

TRACTION CONTROL: 12-position driver adjustable. Controls power transmission by reducing wheel slip and optimizing traction ensuring maximum performance and safety.

ENDURANCE WIRING HARNESS: Enables flexible connection, provides stable power and signal transmission together with optimum function of all connected systems while operating in race conditions.

RACING SUSPENSION 3-WAY ADJUSTABLE: Independent adjustment of rebound and compression, with high-performance racing springs enable precise tuning ensuring maximum stability, traction and performance.

ANTI-LIFT SYSTEM: SP-PRO regulations. An extension of traction control to stabilize the front end by reducing front lift of the vehicle during acceleration. Improved traction and stability.

ABS SYSTEM 12-POSITION: Maximum braking control and adaptability, driver adjustable to different driving styles, track and weather conditions with the center console located 12-positions rotary switch.

PERFORMANCE IMPROVMENT: A combination of air intake and ECU optimization improves performance, with increased power, responsiveness and engine efficiency.

HANDLEBAR KIT REAR AXLE: Enables adjustment of toe and camber to optimize the vehicle setup. Control arms made of high-strength aluminum equipped with high-performance spherical plain bearings.

FORGED WHEELS: One-piece high precision center lock forged alloy, Front 12.0J x 18 ET27, Rear 13.0J x 18 ET37.5, developed for maximum load capacity, weight saving, stability and performance.

FUEL TANK FILLING SYSTEM: Equipped with a quick-fill valve fuel tank filling system for fast, safe and efficient refueling, of the FT3 100-liter fuel cell.

Runtime Hours and Maintenance History:
Chassis: 76.5 hours
Chassis was re-tubbed by Black Falcon. The engine was also damaged at that time; it was rebuilt and the engine hours reset in the ecu.
The engine hours reported in the ecu and dash correspond to the chassis hours as reported
by Black Falcon.
Engine: 14.5 hours since Autometrics rebuilt and upgraded to 4.2 liter
Autometrics 4.2 liter with Dundon intake and M&M headers and exhaust.
Autometrics could not reset the ecu hours. The ECU hours were noted at the time of the rebuild at 62 hours, this is effectively the zero hour point for this engine.
Transmission: 14.5 hours since last inspection
Autometrics initially inspected the transmission after purchasing the car from Black Falcon it was then serviced again when the engine upgrade was done.
Cutch 39 hours. Autometrics measured and checked the clutch discs 14.5 hours at the same time as the engine and transmission rebuild.
Clutch slave assembly: 39 hours
Diff plates: 39 hours
Shift compressor, actuator, valve block rebuilt 32.5 hours
The shift component hours are logged separately in the ecu, an exact current compressor run time can be provided on request.
Fuel cell foam 14.5 hours, it was replaced in March 2025 when the engine and transmission were rebuilt.
Front brake calipers rebuilt 28.5 hours
Seat expiration 2029
Belt expiration 2027
